Starbucks Switching Wi-Fi Providers in UK and Ireland

Starbucks is to switch its in-store Wi-Fi service from T-Mobile to British Telecom, covering more than 650 Starbucks coffeehouses in the UK and Ireland. The first stores will have the service installed this week and the roll out will be completed by the end of the summer 2009.  more

BT Signs 3G Backhaul Contract with T-Mobile and 3 UK

T-Mobile UK and Hutchison 3G UK, through their joint venture company, Mobile Broadband Network Ltd (MBNL), have signed a five-year managed network solutions agreement with the UK's dominant landline operator, bt to provide links connecting 7,500 base station sites on their consolidated 3G infrastructure.  more
