BT Wi-Fi usage doubles in a year
Users of Wi-Fi hotspots operated by the UK's bt clocked up twice the number of minutes online between April and September 2008, than the same period last year. The half year figures, combining bt Openzone and bt FON are 100% up on the same period in 2007 and 57% up on the previous six months. more

bt, the UKs dominant landline operator has cut public Wi-Fi rates by up to 50 percent as it launched a new price structure.
