Macau Operator Upgrades Billing Platform for 3G Launch

Comverse says that Macau's CTM has deployed the its Kenan FX Business Solution to cover the customer care, fulfilment and billing functionality for its mobile network. The Comverse Kenan FX system will support CTM's planned 3G services expected to be rolled out in Q2. Convergys Wins 3G Billing Contract

Convergys Corp. says that it has signed a 5-year professional services outsourcing contract with Taiwan's VIBO Telecom, to manage the 3G operators back office operations. Under this new contract, Convergys will continue to manage all aspects of VIBO's customer care and billing systems, extending a contract first signed in 2005. As part of the 2005 agreement, Convergys implemented and integrated its Infinys rating and billing and mediation software with VIBO's third party CRM, activation, provisioning, and partner management platforms. more
