Amdocs Quarterly Revenue Down 16%
Billing and Ops support vendor, Amdocs has reported a 15.9% drop in its fiscal Q3 (ending June 30th) revenues of $690.3 million - down 2.9% sequentially. The Company's GAAP net income was US$85.5 million, compared to US$100.7 million in the prior year's third quarter. more

Service Providers View Modernisation as Key to Successful OSS Managed Services
Amdocs has published the results of a survey exploring service providers' use of managed services to support their operational support systems (OSS). The survey finds that almost all (91 percent) of service providers view modernisation as a key component of OSS outsourcing engagements. Additionally, benefits such as increased service profitability and improved time to market ranked nearly as high as operational cost savings, demonstrating the expanded business value of OSS outsourcing. More than two thirds (67 percent) would prefer to outsource business support systems (bss) with OSS. more
