Dedicated LTE Spectrum in Asia-Pacific Could Create 2 Million Jobs by 2020

Improving radio spectrum management in the  Asia Pacific region could boost the economy by nearly US$730 billion and create two million new jobs by 2020, according to a report from the GSMA and The Boston Consulting Group (BCG). The report states that if governments allocate the 700 MHz band for Mobile Broadband deployment, it would bring much greater economic and social benefits to Asia Pacific than if allocated for services such as broadcasting.  more
