Bosnian Network Orders 3G Infrastructure
Bosnia and Herzegovina based mobile operator, BH Telecom has signed a 3G HSPA supply contract with Ericsson Nikola Tesla. Ericsson Nikola Tesla shall provide a HSPA network, including a radio access network and Ericsson's Mobile Softswitch and Video Gateway solutions which shall enable video service to BH Telecom's end users. more

Bosnia and HerzegovinaÃ's BH Telecom has awarded a contract to Nokia Siemens Networks for a fibre optic network which includes Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing (DWDM) technology. Nokia Siemens NetworksÃ' DWDM network based on the SURPASS hiT 7300 platform will provide BH Telecom with a transport backbone, anticipating the future transmission volumes from the emerging data traffic. more

Bosnia operator orders SMS platform
Turkey's Oksijen has been awarded as the winner by the Bosnia and Herzegovina based GSM operator, BH Telecom for its tender of supplying a "short messaging service center" (SMSC) and short messaging based applications. According to the contract between the two companies, Oksijen will implement its SMSC, SMS Broadcaster, SMPP Gateway, Welcome Roaming Message and Missed Call Alert solutions in BH Telecom's network. more
