BridgeWave Communications says that it has launched a range of 80 GHz radios for mobile backhaul provision. DragonWave Wins Italian WiMAX Backhaul Contract
Ethernet backhaul vendor, DragonWave has announced that Italy's Linkem will deploy its Horizon Compact radios for backhaul in their new WiMAX network. Linkem provides both nationwide Wi-Fi Hotspot services and Wireless DSL services in Italy. At the beginning of 2008 the company consolidated this position by acquiring 13 regional WiMAX licenses to provide mobile broadband coverage to 80% of the Italian population. more
