Lonely Man Complains After "housewife" Photos Fail to Arrive on Mobile Phone"
New Zealand's advertising standards body, the asa has upheld a complaint made after a Mr. R Walker chose to subscribe to an adult content service via his mobile phone and failed to receive any of the expected photos. An advert for the service in a local newspaper offered to send photos of a "housewife" for a cost of NZ$2 (US$1.56) per photo. After sending five requests and not receiving any replies - the frustrated customer made a complaint to the standards body. more

Advertising Complaint Against Nokia Rejected
The UK's Advertising Standards Authority has rejected a complaint about recent Nokia adverts which had claimed that the Nokia 5300 could offer "CD Quality Sound" on its music playback feature. Nokia's advertising agency, Grey London, responded on their behalf. They said the bit rate did not on its own determine the level of audio quality; the only relevant test was a listener test, which compared samples with an original CD recording. more
