O2 Expecting New iPhone Model within Months
The UK operator, O2 is reported to be planning to cut the retail price of apple's iPhone in preparation for the launch of a replacement model in June or July. UK Selling 27,000 Apple iPhone's Per Week
The 3G iPhone is achieving a market share in the UK handset market of between 4-6%, despite still being exclusive to just one mobile operator in the country. Sources told the UK trade magazine, Mobile Today that the company is stilling around 27,000 iPhone's per week - although that is down on the 50,000 per week sold when the handset was initially launched. more
