The Symbian Foundation has announced the launch of Symbian Horizon, an app store for Symbian developers. Users can now sign up for the program to have their applications listed in the Symbian Horizon Directory, processed through Symbian Signed, and published to a growing list of application store partners. more
Symbian to Launch its Own App Store Platform
The Symbian Foundation today previewed Symbian Horizon, an application-publishing program on schedule for general availability in October 2009. With Symbian Horizon, developers will receive assistance in building applications for Symbian devices and in placing those applications in the many global stores which reach Symbian customers, and will receive promotional assistance for bringing those applications to end users. more
