New test center for MMS in Germany
In order to meet the increasing demand for MMS conformance testing, Cetecom has put into operation a second MMS test platform located at the mobile communications test centre in Feldkirchen near Munich (Germany). In addition to the already existing Setcom S-CAT 5020/Agilent 8960 test solution, Cetecom has invested in a further test tool that has been developed and recently launched by anite. more

RFI gears up to test GSM850 systems

Test center adds GSM850 to portfolio
Radio Frequency Investigation Ltd (RFI) has upgraded its anite SAT+ testing capability to support testing in the GSM 850 band (for US mobiles). RFI is the only independent ISO17025 laboratory to support the anite SAT6+ GSM 850 test platform. RFI will be able to carry out all GPRS tests that require up to six channels in addition to the Phase 2 test cases at GSM 850. more

RFI offering GSM1900 testing in the UK
Radio Frequency Investigation (RFI) says that it has upgraded its anite RAMS and SAT 8 system simulators to support GSM1900 testing, GPRS RF and Batch 3 protocol testing. In addition one of its Rohde and Schwarz TS8916Bs has been upgraded to support additional GSM1900 test cases. The upgrades, together with RFI's existing GSM900/1800/1900 capability on two TS8916s, GSM 900/1800 on the SAT and RAMS and AMR on the Racal 6103 AIME CT, means that RFI can offer a complete GSM Phase 2 approval at the single location of its Thatcham, UK test facility making RFI one of the best equipped single location laboratories in the world. more
