Amdocs Platform Processes $1.5 Billion of Mobile Content Sales
amdocs has announced that its Qpass digital commerce platform has processed more than $1.5 billion worth of premium content, representing over 590 million transactions since 2003. During the first six months of 2006, Qpass, amdocs Digital Commerce division processed close to half a billion dollars of premium content with an average quarterly growth rate of 12 percent. The average price per transaction at the end of June 2006 was US$3.17, up from US$2.54 a year ago, mainly driven by an increase of mobile games sales and the addition of new video content. more

Vodafone Outsources Dutch Billing Services
Vodafone Netherlands and amdocs have signed a five year contract under which amdocs will manage parts of Vodafone Netherlands' billing activities. As of 1 October 2006, 27 employees of Vodafone Netherlands will be transferred to amdocs. amdocs will open a new office in the southern part of Limburg from which it will perform the activities taken over from Vodafone Netherlands. more
