Qiao Xing Mobile to Boost 3G Phone Development Staff

China's Qiao Xing Mobile says that it plans to accelerate its 3G mobile phone R&D by adding 200 engineers to its existing R&D team in Beijing in 2009. The new personnel will spearhead the Company's research, design, development and commercialization of 3G handsets, with a focus on TD-SCDMA and WCDMA products.  more

Nokia Launches its First 3G Phone in South Korea

Nokia has launched its first 3G phone in the South Korean market after securing a distribution deal with the mobile network operator, KTF. The first model to be launched in Korea is the Nokia 6210s.  more
