Powerwave Technologies and Filtronic have formed an alliance to jointly develop and supply integrated radio frequency (RF) power amplifier and RF conditioning unit solutions for the 3G wireless infrastructure base station market. This agreement creates the opportunity to combine the resources of Powerwave, a supplier of RF power amplifiers, with Filtronic, a designer and manufacturer of RF conditioning products.
