
Nokia has made comments on the recent reports about handset screen faults. Nokia says that in early 2002, it identified a component quality problem with one of its display suppliers. Nokia immediately stopped using the failing component and replaced it with components from other suppliers. The problem was solved in February.
The company says that the faulty component affects a small proportion of Nokia models produced between October 2001 - January 2002. In relation to Nokia
