Ericsson will upgrade the 2G and 3G mobile networks and also provide LTE technology for A1 in Austria and Vipnet in Croatia. Rollout has already started.
Vipnet has already launched LTE services on its network, with the infrastructure supplied last year by an Ericsson subsidiary, Ericsson Nikola Tesla.
Neither the scale of the latest network upgrades nor the financial terms of the contract were disclosed.
