Nokia Switches Ad Agencies to Push N-Series Smartphones

Nokia is planning a US$150 million advertising push to promote its N-Series smartphones, and has awarded a contract to the ad agency, Wieden & Kennedy to handle the marketing push. Nokia previously awarded the smartphone advertising account to an Interpublic team based in Lowe Worldwide's London offices - writes AdAge.

Interpublic originally won the N-Series marketing contract in 2005, and ran a range of movie tie-ups to promote the smartphone video playback facilities.

This is the second Nokia win for the Wieden agency, after it picked up the US$260 million global account for all of Nokia's products, excluding the N-Series range.

T-Mobile USA recently announced that it about to run a huge campaign which will push a billion online adverts in just two days to promote its Google Phone for the holiday season.
