Amdocs has announced in a brief statement, that Vodafone has selected its Operational Support Systems (OSS) fulfillment products for deployment in key European locations. Amdocs will play a major role in supporting Vodafone's Internet Protocol / Multi-Protocol data switching (IP/MPLS) network deployment across Europe.
The agreement expands Amdocs' long standing relationship with Vodafone.
As a preferred supplier of OSS systems, this project also signifies a change in commercial relationship and it is now being channeled through the recently established Vodafone Procurement Company SARL., adding further efficiencies to both companies' operations.
Amdocs signed its first global agreement with Vodafone in 2004.
