
Lebanon based Comium Group says that it has secured nine licenses to provide WiMAX services across several markets in East and West Africa including Cote d'Ivory, Democratic Republic of Congo, Zambia and Burundi. This expansion also brought the appointment of Comium DataĆ's new management team to drive the companyĆ's growth.

The company has already deployed a WiMAX network in Lebanon, and operates GSM networks in The Gambia, Liberia, Cote d'Ivory and Sierra Leone.
