UPDATE: Vodafone Exec Killed at Country Home

Vodafone UK's head of business analysis, Sally Sinclair has died following an attack at her home over the weekend. The body of Mrs Sinclair, 40 was found dead on Saturday evening at her home near Amport, in Hampshire - not far from Vodafone's global headquarters in Newbury.

She was married to her husband, Alisdair, 47 in 1987 and he reportedly worked from home whilst looking after the children.

A spokesman for Hampshire Police, said: "Detectives investigating the death of a woman in Amport, near Andover, on Saturday continue to question a 47-year-old man who has been assisting with inquiries. The investigation team from the major crime department is also following up a number of other lines of inquiry to establish the circumstances that led to the womanÃ's death."

The police later confirmed that the husband, Alisdair Sinclair had been charged with the murder.

A post-mortem examination showed that she had died from injuries to her upper chest - apparently caused by multiple stab wounds.

Matthew Brearley, human resources director of Vodafone UK, said said: "Sally will be deeply missed by her colleagues here at Vodafone. Our sympathy goes out to SallyÃ's family and friends."

Mrs Sinclair had two twin children aged ten years.
