WiMAX Arrives on the Black Sea

Nexcom Bulgaria says that it has expanded its WiMAX network at the Southern Black Sea coast. In time for the summer season, Nexcom Bulgaria now covers a considerable part of the Seaside and 80% of the population in the large cities with population of more than 50 thousand people.

Since the beginning of the month the WiMAX services of the company are available in Primorsko and Kiten. The company currently covers 45% of the population and says that it plans to span 90% of the population in the country by the end of the year.

Nexcom Bulgaria, owned by the US Nexcom Telecommunications, was found in 1998. At the end of 2007 Nexcom Bulgaria attracted Intel Capital and MCI Management as key investors and partners of the company.
