Teliasonera' Cfo to Leave Firm - Move to Media Publisher

TeliaSonera has announced that Kim Ignatius, Executive Vice President and CFO of the company, is leaving his current position after eight years with the company to take up a similar position outside TeliaSonera. According to a simultaneous release from the Finland based media group, SanomaWSOY - he has joined their firm as CFO and as a member of SanomaWSOY's Executive Management Group.

SanomaWSOY is the leading media group in the Nordic countries with operations in 20 European countries, based in Helsinki. The group is also among the top five European magazine publishers.

"The past eight years in the company have been exciting and rewarding. I see my new position as an interesting opportunity to utilize and build on the experience from telecommunications, but also as a chance for further personal development. While I am now returning to Helsinki and my family, I would like to send my sincere thanks to all my colleagues at TeliaSonera," says Kim Ignatius.

I highly appreciate our cooperation and therefore, I can only regret that he has now decided to leave the company.
