Sony Ericsson's latest music mobile went directly to first place in the Top Ten List of best-selling mobile phones in Telia's retail stores in Sweden. The Top Ten List for March was completely dominated by Sony Ericsson and Nokia, which had six and four mobile handsets on the list, respectively. Nine out of ten mobiles on the Top Ten List are camera-equipped. Eight out of ten have a built-in Mp3 player, e-mail function and work together with Navigator, Telia's navigation service.
According to the latest Telia Trend Report, 10,000 private and enterprise customers said that navigation was a service they wanted on their mobile phones. As many as 70 percent said they wanted to use their mobile to get driving directions, 58 percent to look for timetables, and 48 percent to send and receive e-mail.
The statistics are based on sales in 74 Telia retail stores in Sweden. Telia has the largest retail chain in Sweden for telecom products and is one of the biggest resellers of mobile phones in the country."
