In an interview with China Times, Li Ka-shing head of Hutchison Whampoa said that he would be interested in investing in a Taiwan 3G network, provided the 3G licenses are auctioned rather than allocated by a beauty contest. He added that he has already started looking for Taiwanese partners in expectation of a 3G bidding process next year."
