Polska Telefonia Cyfrowa (PTC), the Polish mobile subsidiary of Deutsche Telekom, celebrated its 10-year anniversary in Warsaw last weekend. PTC first received its license in December 1995 and launched its "era" brand in September 2006. Two years later, the company had 420,000 customers and became market leader.
Today, the company has over 11 million customers, over 35 percent market share and many good reasons to celebrate: "Our company has had to endure periods of uncertainty - but that never stopped us from working hard. Today, on our ten-year anniversary, we can say that this day also marks the return to greater stability," said the Chairman of the Management Board, Klaus Hartmann."
