The USA based, Alltel Wireless says that it has activated the only cell site located directly inside the brand new Cardinals Stadium, permanent home of the NFL's Arizona Cardinals. The new site will provide superior network coverage during events at the stadium. The cell site, located on the Service Level of the stadium, provides service to all levels of the facility through an antenna built into the structure.
Alltel is the Official Wireless Network Services Provider of the Arizona Cardinals and Arizona Cardinals Stadium.
"Our customers expect superb coverage wherever they go, and our goal is to deliver the best wireless experience in Arizona," said Scott Thompson, vice president of retail services for Alltel. "Alltel Wireless, with the only cell site in Cardinals Stadium, will give fans greater ability to stay connected while attending events in the facility."
Cardinals Stadium also will host Super Bowl XLII in February 2008."
