
In August, a 3G mobile phone topped Telia's list of best-selling mobile handsets for the first time ever when the Sony Ericsson K800i jumped from sixth to first place. The Top Ten List featured yet another new 3G product with the debut of a PC card from Huawei, which is used by Telia Wireless Broadband customers to connect their portable computers to the mobile network.
According to a Telia survey conducted in the beginning of the summer, six out of ten customers said they planned on taking their portable computer with them to their summer houses. It seems like they did - the Telia Wireless Broadband service was launched in June and the PC card qualified for the top ten list already by August.
