Philippine Operator Upgrades International SMS Facilities

The Philippines based, Globe Telecom has selected Aicent SMS Gateway to provide SMS delivery to international destinations Aicent says that many operators are far from satisfied by the limited interworking coverage provided by their bilateral roaming relationships and other existing implementation methods. Aicent SMS Gateway offers a one-stop SMS exchange hub that seamlessly connects Globe to mobile operators currently on the Aicent network.

Aicent SMS Gateway's network architecture provides interworking between both GSM and CDMA operators, and supports both IP and SS7 connections.
