BONN -(Dow Jones)- Deutsche Telekom's mobile phone arm T-Mobile International is experiencing growing demand for its so-called T-Mobile@home offer launched at the beginning of the year, Chief Executive Philipp Humm told Dow Jones Newswires Friday.
The service was extremely well received among customers, Humm said, adding that subscriber numbers for the service had grown strongly compared with the first quarter. He did not elaborate.
In the first quarter of the year, 510,000 customers signed up for the service.
The T-Mobile@home service allows customers to use their cell phones from home at fixed-line prices of EUR0.04 per minute and is designed to attract more cell phone users.
