Grundig Starts Shipping its First Handsets

Grundig Mobile, launched in January 2005 as a result of a licensing agreement between Vitelcom Mobile Technology (Spain) and Grundig Multimedia (Netherlands) has announced the successful market introduction of two of their mobile phone models in Spain.

The Grundig M130 is available at Carrefour, the largest European retailer chain. The Grundig G402i, co-branded Movistar is now available from Telefonica Moviles in Spain. The G402i features a TFT-Colour Display, Built-in Camera, Polyphonic Ringtones and Handsfree mode. This multimedia i-mode model also offers Video Messaging, Downloading, Play & Recording, and the camera includes Picture Editing and i-Frames.
