LONDON -(Dow Jones)- CRC Group said Tuesday that its Communications business has been awarded a contract for the repair of Sony Ericsson mobile handsets in Poland effective Dec. 30, 2004.
Under the terms of the contract, CRC Poland has been certified by Sony Ericsson as an Authorised Service Centre for warranty and out of warranty repairs of Sony Ericsson mobile phones. This accreditation extends to all technical levels of repair currently authorised by Sony Ericsson.
CRC Poland and Sony Ericsson have worked in close co-operation to ensure all systems are in place and that recruitment and training completed in preparation for the start of the contract.
CRC Group Chief Executive Alan Mclaughlin said: "CRC is delighted that Sony Ericsson have placed their trust and confidence in CRC to perform this vital role in Poland."
