Samsung Shows off New American Handsets

Samsung Telecommunications America kicked-off the new year in unprecedented fashion by unveiling an amazing array of new wireless phones at the annual Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas. In addition to previewing new handsets, Samsung also used this year's forum to highlight why its products have become favorites with consumers and how the company has gained market and revenue share at the expense of rivals.

Samsung's preview of wireless devices at CES will give consumers a glimpse into the future of U.S. wireless products. The company is debuting products with advanced video, music, speech recognition and data capabilities, including phones with "world's first" technologies. Among the approximately 25 to 30 phones Samsung will introduce to U.S. consumers in 2005 are:

Samsung will bring these advanced capabilities to life for consumers through intelligently-designed devices that consider how consumers will interact with the technology. For example, new Samsung camera and video phones will have unique screen and camera integration, allowing consumers to use the camera function like they would with standard digital cameras and camcorders. Other phones primarily designed as messaging devices will incorporate full QWERTY keypads."
