ADC says that BOCO Inter-Telecom has selected it's Metrica solution as an enhancement to its network management system. BOCO Inter-Telecom is integrating ADC's Metrica software into its own network management system to provide a total solution to China Mobile including professional performance management and analysis of China Mobile's GSM and GPRS network.
BOCO Inter-Telecom is China Mobile's largest network management system (NMS) vendor in mainland China. China Mobile serves more than 150 million subscribers in total and has 31 provincial branches, each one running a GSM/GPRS network.
"We have been using Metrica for several years and are impressed by ADC's rich global experience in the management of wireless networks," said Pan YangFa, general manager of the network management department for BOCO Inter-Telecom. "We believe that the flexibility and high functionality of the Metrica system, together with the company's local presence, knowledge and support, will further strengthen our integrated NMS offering to China Mobile. Furthermore, Metrica can be customized to China Mobile's specific requirements and this is particularly important for future network expansion and service roll-out."
