Huawei Technologies, has announced that it has already successfully built the 450 MHz CDMA2000 1X network for Mobisel, the only CDMA450 operator in Indonesia. Huawei is the sole vendor who has supplied an end-to-end CDMA450 solution in the project, including the base stations, the switching system, and user terminals. And also, the solution is designed at a higher level to offer smooth evolution to 3G.
"We are very glad to cooperate with Mobisel" said Mr. Wang Cheng, President in charge of Asia Pacific region's operation at Huawei Technologies. "Huawei is confident for the bright future of worldwide CDMA450 development, and has extensive applications in Western and Eastern Europe, CIS region, Asia Pacific, as well as Africa." he added.
"We have selected Huawei to be our supplier, and the performance of the system is quite satisfactory," said Mr. Johan Soedibjo, CEO of Mobisel. "I believe, upon our mutual efforts, we will make the CDMA450 a great success in Indonesia."
