CellTracker says that its Solutions Modules have been implemented in a major Malaysian operator to manage its deployment of an EDGE network.
The application went officially live on 1st December 2003 and will be used to manage Work Flow for the network rollout. The network will consist initially of approximately 3000 Base Stations and the deployment is expected to expand over the next 5 years as the operators network grows.
CellTracker won the contract on the basis of its extensive expertise in the area of Mobile Network Infrastructure Rollout and its application package - Solutions Modules - satisfied the requirements of the operator initially to a significant extent. This, coupled with the flexibility to extensively configure the application to the precise requirements of the client, meant that the operator now has a system that will be used to successfully manage, monitor and report on progress of the network rollout.
Celltracker currently has over 250 installations in 45 countries worldwide, as the network roll-out tool of choice for Mobile operators, Switch Manufacturers and Infrastructure constructors alike."
