Australia's Optus has announced that it is cutting 350 jobs as part of an ongoing restructuring programme.
In a statement, the company said that the redundancies would follow a restructure of its Corporate, Consumer and Optus Business divisions.
In Optus Business, the company said that it is making changes to refocus the structure towards ICT and Applications growth. Elsewhere, it is consolidating roles across a number of corporate functions to simplify customer care services.
The staff are all expected to leave the company within the next few weeks.
More than half of the jobs cuts will come from the company's operations in Sydney, with Victoria absorbing the second largest losses.
At the end of last year, the company had 8,685 employees, down on the 9,130 staff employed by the company at the end of 2012.
