Note -- this news article is more than a year old.
T Mobile USA's bombastic CEO, John Legere spends much of his time verbally attacking other mobile networks, but there is one area where he is steadfastly in step with them his own wage packet.
Stock market filings showed that he took home USD29.4 million last year, made up on USD22.5 million in shares, USD4.83 million in bonuses, and USD1.25 million as a normal wage.
That meant that he actually earned more than the CEO's of the much larger AT&T and Verizon networks.
AT&T's CEO, Randall Stephenson earned USD23.34 million, while Verizon's CEO, Lowell McAdam took home about $15.82 million.
All three of them paled though compared to the head of Sprint, Dan Hesse, who managed to pull in USD49 million for a year's work.
