Telekom Austria;s CFO Leaves the Company Early

Telekom Austria Group has announced that its Chief Financial Officer Hans Tschuden has agreed to prematurely dissolve his contract by 31 May 2014. His contract has not been due to expire until 2017.
A replacement is still being looked for. The company did not elaborate on why it asked him to leave early, however it noted that the departure comes before the next Annual General Meeting, where the company's second largest shareholder, America Movil is expected to push for control of the company.
"I would like to thank Hans Tschuden for his strong contribution during his many years as CFO of Telekom Austria Group in particular for his role during the growth phase of the company. I wish him all the best for his future endeavours", says Rudolf Kemler, chairman of the supervisory board of Telekom Austria Group.
Hans Tschuden has been Chief Financial Officer of Telekom Austria AG since 1 April 2007 and was appointed Vice Chairman of the Management Board of Telekom Austria AG on 1 January 2009.
