TfL's Website Having Problems with the O2 Network

The UK's Transport for London has confirmed that it customers on the O2 mobile network are having problems accessing its website.

It also said that MVNO customers, such as Tesco, Giffgaff and Lycamobile would also be affected by the same problem -- which they are still trying to resolve.

Curiously, the temporary bug fix is simply to visit TfL's secure page by replacing with which suggest some sort of filter is blocking parts of the TfL domain at the O2 network level.

What TfL said is that some users are reporting that the site does not load properly and key features cannot be used. Affected users cannot load the 'menu' button at the top of the page and the 'Plan a journey' box will not open up.

Wi-Fi usage is unaffected - the problem is only occurring when using a mobile connection.

TfL said that it is working with O2 to resolve the problem.
