Thailand's True Move has set itself a target of signing up a million customers to its LTE network by the end of this year.
The mobile network decided not to deploy 3G services on its 2.1Ghz spectrum and jump straight to LTE instead, and has now signed up 250,000 customers.
Part of the way that the company aims to attract customers is by promotional offers, not just be touting the higher mobile data speeds compared to their rivals.
True Move estimates that at least 3 million people already own LTE-capable smartphones
Their LTE network currently covers 14 major provinces, including Bangkok.
