Digicel's subsidiary on the British Virgin Islands has announced the expansion of its LTE network to additional areas.
Digicel BVI however still awaits confirmation by the Telecommunications Regulatory Commission (TRC) of the process to be adopted for the allocation of spectrum to be used to roll out LTE.
"Since our launch in the BVI, we have continued to deliver on our commitment of best network - and with the launch of our 4G network in November 2012 - we took it to the next level. With this latest 4G network expansion, we are delivering even greater speeds, capacity and reliability - ensuring our customers are getting the service they deserve," said Digicel BVI CEO, Declan Cassidy.
Digicel has previously launched LTE networks in Antigua and Barbuda and in the Cayman Islands.
