Senior Management Shakeup at Canada's Telus

Canada's Telus has announced that's its President and CEO, Darren Entwistle following the annual shareholders meeting in May.

He will step up to the role of Chairman, replacing Brian Canfield who will retire following 58 years with the company, and its predecessors.

Telus' new CEO will be Joe Natale, who has been with the company since 2003, most recently as an executive vice-president. Since 2010, Mr. Natale has served as Telus' Chief Commercial Officer

Mr. Entwistle stated, "I am very pleased that our best in class succession planning process has resulted in Joe Natale being named as our next President and CEO and am excited to continue working with him in leading the progression of our national growth strategy."

Mr. Natale will join Telus' Board of Directors, reporting to the Executive Chair, Mr. Entwistle, and will continue to be based in Toronto. Mr. Natale also serves on the Board of Directors of Celestica Inc., Soulpepper Theatre and United Way Toronto.
