Mobile virtual network enabler (MVNE) Sisteer says that it has signed a full MVNO agreement with Brazil's Vivo.

The contract is to last for an initial period of 5 years and will let Sisteer act as an MVNO enabler for 3rd-party companies.

Sisteer first obtained its license to operate as an MVNO Autorizada in Brazil in March 2012 and now aims to launch its first MVNO operation in early 2014. Sisteer will be the sole firm to combine its core business as an MVNE/A in Brazil and B2C operations.

"This groundbreaking agreement with Vivo enables us to bring all the compelling expertise, products and services of the Sisteer Group to Brazil," says Alain Bureau, CEO, Sisteer Group. "We believe we are singularly placed to bring significant added value to mobile users across Brazil."
