Leaked Video Shows HP Working on Android Based Laptop

Note -- this news article is more than a year old.
A leaked video appears to show the Android OS working on a HP laptop computer, which is being developed by HP, apparently with permission from Google.
Google has long been thought to prefer its own Chrome OS for laptops, and keeping Android separate for just smartphones and tablets. However, convergence is going to be necessary in the long term at some point, as tablets simply cannot replace laptops for heavy processes or most office users.
The leaked video was found by Notebook Italia, and shows off a new laptop, the HP Slatebook 14, which comes with a 14-inch full HD touchscreen display and runs on a quad-core Nvidoa processor.
Other than that, little is known about the device.
One thing though, a touchscreen laptop running Android could be a boost for Windows OS, which offers a little supported touchscreen option of its own. It is currently little supported mostly because it's the only mainstream OS offering it. Adding Android to the mix could popularise that mode as well.
