Android OS Update May Fix Nexus 5's Blue Tint Camera Bug

Note -- this news article is more than a year old.

A forthcoming Android OS upgrade could fix a camera bug that has been plaguing Nexus 5 smartphone owners ever since the KitKat version was released.

Android 4.4 has had three upgrades since it was released, but none of them fixed the camera bug, which adds a noticable blue-tinge to photos taken with the cameraphone.

The Nexus 5 has had previous camera problems, which have been resolved, such as the autofocus flaw -- but the blue-tint issue has remained oddly untouched ever since the handset came out.

The Android ROM developer, LlabTooFer mentioned that a new version of the OS is now being tested, and that it could finally fix the blue-tint problem.

There are no more details at the moment, nor a release date.
