Xiaomi Tops Chinese Smartphone Complaints League

Fast rising Chinese smartphone manufacturer Xiaomi has risen to the top of another chart for customer complaints.
Xiaomi's brisk sales were marred by numerous complaints however, with its after-sales services becoming the focus of complaints.
Citing a fairly small sample size, the Chinese product control foundation reported that Xiaomi tops the complaints chart with 993 issues, followed by Apple at 805 and Samsung with 621 complaints,
The foundation said that it had received 6,497 mobile phone-related complaints in 2013, a 60% growth from the previous year, and which accounted for 12.4% of the total number of complaints received by the industry.
The report revealed the top 10 mobile phone brands that received the most number of complaints, which included Xiaomi, Meizu, Huawei, ZTE, HTC, Nokia, Lenovo and Motorola.
