Xiaomi Phablet to Start Overseas Sales in May

Fast rising Chinese smartphone vendor Xiaomi has confirmed that its recently announced Android phablet will go in sale in China next week and sales will start overseas in May.
The company's head of global sales, Hugo Barra said that the phablet would be coming to Taiwan, Hong Kong and Singapore in May with other markets very soon thereafter.
The phablet, called the Redmi Note will come in two models, with either 1.4GHz/1GB or 1.7GHz/2GB configurations.
It will be dual-SIM, and have a 5.5-inch display, 13 megapixel main camera and a 5 megapixel front-facing camera.
Barra confirmed that pricing would be $129 for the 1.4GHz/1GB version, $159 for the 1.7Ghz/2GB version
