GSM Network Set Up in Colorado

NE Colorado Cellular, doing business as Cellular ONE of Northeast Colorado since 1991 and Wireless II, doing business as Nebraska Wireless since 1995 have created a new wireless company, that will be doing business as Viaero Wireless. NE Colorado Cellular will be the sole owner and operator of Viaero Wireless.

"Viaero Wireless exists to provide superior quality rural wireless service to our subscribers making their safety, quality of life, and ability to communicate the equal of their urban counterparts. We will achieve this by providing superior coverage, access anytime, immediate personal customer service and a competitive product within our local borders, and a seamless connectivity of features and services outside of our borders," Larry Aisenbrey, VP Operations.

NE Colorado Cellular, Inc. doing business as Viaero Wireless will enhance current wireless product capability by installing GSM/GPRS/EDGE service for customers in northeast Colorado and western/central Nebraska. Nokia will be the sole provider the GSM switching and base station technology. The GSM system installation has begun and is scheduled to be operational October 1, 2003. The current analog wireless system serving northeast Colorado will continue to function as an alternative for Colorado subscribers. All subscribers on the current CDMA system in Nebraska will be replaced with GSM before years' end.

Viaero Wireless has acquired PCS licenses to serve a territory of over 70,000 square miles in northeast Colorado and western and central Nebraska. The GSM system is scheduled to cover most of northeast Colorado including I-76 from Wiggins to the Nebraska State line and Interstate 80 from the Wyoming State line extending eastward to 60 miles east of Grand Island, Nebraska, by years end.

Total Viaero commitment to cover the market end-to-end is estimated at over US$50,000,000.

"For too long the rural wireless subscriber has been ignored and forced to accept less than desired services. My commitment is to provide end-to-end coverage and anytime access to wireless services superior to anything yet experienced by rural subscribers," Frank DiRico, CEO and President of Viaero Wireless.

Viaero will compete directly with Western Wireless doing business as Cellular ONE in Nebraska and also with Alltel. In Colorado, the predominant competitor will be Verizon Wireless.

The name Viaero is Latin for "over the air" and is consistent with Viaero's commitment to wireless coverage everywhere. Viaero's commitment to providing superior service to the local communities we serve while providing for the access to the best when away from home is consistent with our tag line; 'Stay close. Go far.'"
