Taiwan's 3G Operator Orders PrePay Software

Taiwan's Asia Pacific Broadband Wireless Communications (APBW) has chosen CommVerge Solutions to deploy its Wireless Intelligent Network (WIN). In this project, CommVerge Taiwan team will deploy Mobile Virtual Private Network (MVPN) and Prepaid Services based on uAngel's WIN platform.

Mr. Allen Chu, Vice President of APBW, MI (Mobile Internet Department) said, ''CommVerge's 3G Mobile Data Application Solution, together with uAngel's IN applications, has met APBW's requirement to be able to provide this new service to our subscribers.'' APBW was founded in November 2001 and awarded a CDMA2000 license in February 2002. It is the sole CDMA2000 operator in Taiwan and started commercial services this year."
