MMS Delivered As Postcards

Customers of T-Mobile Netherlands are now able to have their digital vacation pictures be delivered as personal vacation cards. Dutch T-Mobile customers with an MMS mobile phone can have their MMS picture be delivered from 30 different countries as real postcards. On one side the photograph will be printed and on the other side there will be the address and the personal message of the sender. The MMS mail from the Netherlands or from 30 other countries will only cost US$1.70 per item until the end of August.

Niek Jan van Damme, commercial Director of T-Mobile: "Most of our customers take their mobile phones with them to vacation. T-Mobile customers can call en be called in over one hundred countries. In 30 countries, including the most important holiday destinations, our customers can use MMS."

Thus it is possible for T-Mobile customers to send vacation pictures directly to other mobile phones or e-mail addresses. Moreover T-Mobile has now made it possible to send vacation pictures as real postcards. After downloading (through the mobile phone with t-zones) and instalment of the software on the mobile phone, T-Mobile Customers can use MMS post. The picture can be provided with a personal message and correspondence address, which can than be sent as an MMS message. After that T-Mobile takes care of the posting of the personal vacation card and the rest is done by the post office."
